And, here’s the final chapter in the saga of the new flagpole. Even my father-in-law swears that he is not going to launch another project. He does get a bit anxious over his projects, to the extent that he lays awake at night planning them. However, that he is not going to launch another project? I’ll wait a while to see if it comes to pass.
He wanted to wait until Gary returned to Fort Dodge to raise the flag for the first time but we didn’t know where we were next going to drive up there so Gary told him to go ahead. Here, however, is the official raising of the flag. Kind of like Grand Openings are usually after a store has been open for a week or so.
He also has 4 smaller flags around the flag pole: 3 are for each one of his kids and the 4th is for his wife, Darlene, who died in 2001.
Of course, now Jack, my brother has a project and here is Gary working on that. The shower faucet turns a bit so Gary is trying to screw it tight enough to stay in place.
The projects never end.
