For most people this is New Year’s Eve, for us it is Gary’s birthday. What better way to spend his birthday than by letting him crawl around under our RV and check all the maintenance items? Sounds like a plan to me and I let him do that.
HAPPY 65TH BIG GAR
From your hiking honey.
We're glad you appreciated Organ Stop. Another smaller Wurlitzer was saved in a pizza parlor just a few blocks from where we lived in Sunnyvale, CA. many years ago. It was smaller, but still neat--according to the web it's still there. Ron's brother, who preached at various congregations, ran into Carroll working on an organ in Minnesota or Missouri years ago--it was Carroll's passion!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dear, for your tender message. May we both continue to have fun and enjoy our adventures for years to come.
ReplyDelete[On the other hand, I may have to rethink allowing you to use the camera; I don't always end up in the most flattering photos (see above). Actually I was not working on the RV at all...that was just a quiet place to take a senior nap.]
HI, Sherron,
ReplyDeleteI'm finally in a place where I can not only post new blogs but can also comment on comments. Yes, Carroll is passionate about organs. I Googled him and found several stories about how he's restored several organs and is or was the Organ Curator at the U of I.
