Time to move on - to Newport, OR, just a few miles down the road. We got lots ready last night because we knew there was rain today. Yep, we were right. It rained during breakfast but we saw this and knew we might be OK - for a while.
We hitched up and we on the road. Beautiful drive, lots to see along the Pacific Ocean and there are lots of turn-outs to stop and view.
Sand Dunes.
Long beaches,
Rocks,
Tunnels of trees (oops, look at the rain shower - with sun in the distance),
Marvelous bridges.
I love the bridge patterns,
Lighthouses (this is Hecate Head)
But, Gary has it well in hand.
And, even though we had some sun interspersed throughout the day, here’s how we got in. Just in time.
Rain - yep, Nancy and Gary must be on the road. We’ve had rain the last few times we’ve been on the road and - it’s predicted for next Friday also. But, it’s the Northwest, Nancy , Gary tells me. That’s how the rain forests grow.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I reply.
Hee’s the bridge that arches over the bay that our campground is on. The rain has cleared up but not the clouds.
