We hadn’t checked in advance about what would be accepted or not, since the last two times we crossed into the US, nothing was said. Today they searched our refrigerator and took out the fresh peppers, the tomatoes and the lettuce. I asked why she didn’t take the cut peppers and she said that the fresh, uncut peppers might possibly have mites around the stem so they just ban all fresh peppers. I didn’t notice any mites but I’m not going to argue with a border guard.

We liked this sign. Must have taken days to get all those large white rocks up there but the declaration - priceless.
Not only are the fields big but this turbine blade took 2 railroad cars to carry it.
Lunch at a local school.
This piece of farm machinery was big too. We saw it driving through town when we were parked.
Well, guess what? We saw it again when we left town. Maybe we won’t pass it now.
We arrived in our campground in Medora.
Big fields, big turbine blades, big tractors and big cottonwoods. America is like that.
