Fairbanks, AK - Misc.

WOW - did we just have an amazing adventure - and we'll bet that you don't know anyone else who has done this. It was a 3-day trip up to Deadhorse, on Prudhoe Bay, one of the furthest north points in Alaska. We flew up, stayed over night and took 2 days to drive back. I’ve written this up in 5 different blogs since it was a pretty spectacular trip. And, boy do I have pictures showing the terrain, the activities, the atmosphere and the trip. Join us on this trip and see what it's like travel the Ice Road, live in Deadhorse and fly over the Brooks Range.

My blogs don’t always get published in the correct order. So here’s how to read it chronologically:

        Flying to Deadhorse 1
        Flying to Deadhorse 2
        Ice Road Vanners 1
        Ice Road Vanners 2
        Finishing the Ice Road

I’ve also got a blog entry on our journey up to Fairbanks.
