Another day and we are finishing up packing the villages away. Yesterday we made a great start but there is still much to do.
Here’s the process that Tish went through in the downstairs ‘powder room.’ Here is the village as Marilyn had set it up.
OK, now Tish has taken all of the carriages, the wagons, the people and other small objects out and only the houses remain. She’s also taken lots of the greenery out so she can get to the village more easily.
Finally, she packed all of the houses into their respective boxes (all original) and all that is left is the part of the platform and some cotton batting that Marilyn put over it to resemble snow.
Getting close to the end now. Time for lunch.
And, that was that - until next year. Oh, boy, can’t wait. And, if you think I’m being sassy - nope, I think this is fun and great bonding.
