San Diego, CA - Can it Get Any Better?

If it’s San Diego, we walk the beach. The weather has been just superb these last two weeks and we can’t get enough of the ocean. Can you ever get enough of the ocean?

Got there about noon but no one was inside eating - everyone was out side enjoying the weather. There were sailboat races with the boats just coming in down the channel.

Around the corner we found a party going pretty strong. I hope the builder tested those 2x4”s.

There are about 18 volleyball nets at one end of the each and each one had a group of 4 at it.

Funny, I didn’t know that Gary had such an interest in volleyball.

Here’s my favorite: It’s a sunny weekend day, crowds of people are sitting out on the beach, on their patios and decks and just ripe for the picking. And, here come an enterprising little Girl Scout selling her cookies up and down the boardwalk from her cute little Radio Flyer. Ah, here she spots a group of people who look like they need a Girl Scout cookie.

Now, she goes in for the kill. So short you can hardly see her over the wall on the left hand side of the picture but she’s got her best sellers in her hand and is making her pitch. Her customers are leaning forward and one guy is already inside getting his money.

This was not the only Girl Scout we saw on the boardwalk. We saw another one further down the beach. Budding entrepreneurs.
Lots of other activity.

How long did we stay? Who knows? It’s the beach, it’s sunny, we’re retired. Can it get any better?
